SUMMARY:Domestic Violence Awareness Scavenger Hunt
DESCRIPTION:Save the Date! CASA Marion’s first-ever Scavenger Hunt is coming this fall! \nTickets are only $35 and include Scavenger Hunt entry\, exclusive local artist t-shirt\, and access to the after party award ceremony with lunch provided!\n\nBuild your team and raise critical funds for our community’s domestic violence survivors. Wrap up Domestic Violence Awareness Month with CASA’s Scavenger Hunt on November 15. Traverse downtown Ocala with your team earning points\, discovering local gems\, and celebrating our city’s rich history.\nThis is a child-friendly event.\n\nHow It Works\nTeams check in at Citizen’s Circle from 11:30am to noon. At check-in\, teams receive bags with CASA Marion goodies\, including an item that they’ll need for the scavenger hunt. At noon\, the game begins! To respond to photo-op challenges\, teams use the Eventzee app (instructions for using the app are emailed to teams upon registration).\nPhoto op challenges look like the following example: “This store is named after a character from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Take a photo with a purple treat for domestic violence awareness.” Teams would upload this photo into the relevant challenge on Eventzee\, where a CASA Marion volunteer will check to ensure that the photo meets the challenge requirements. If so\, the team receives points for that challenge. \nPrizes awarded for top fundraising team\, top scoring team\, and best team costume.\n\nGet a head start on the competition and start fundraising today!
